It is a well-known fact that most third-world countries experience problems with water. Because of their climate and the resources of the land, a large portion of the population in these countries don’t have access to drinkable water which is, after all, a basic human need and right.
‘What can we do for this issue?’, is probably the question the Israeli company Water-Gen asked themselves when they started to develop this groundbreaking device which allegedly can provide drinkable water to those who need it in a cheap, fast and effective way. This is the device, designed by the Israeli company Water-Gen, that claims it can produce drinkable water out of thin air. It collects water vapor that already exists in the atmosphere and through the process of condensation, it turns it into fresh water while cleaning it with filters in order to be safe to drink. “The target is to extract water from the air with minimum energy,” says the founder and co-CEO of the company Arye Kohav.
