17. The Stray Dogs of Greece
Stray dogs are actually quite common in Greece, in fact, they are quite literally, everywhere. Many tourists will actually say that Greece appears to have the most stray dogs in all of Europe and the Mediterranean, and that is because they actually do. Hundreds of homeless dogs wander the streets in search for some attention and affection, endlessly in search for the next meal.
